Lauren Chu

Lauren Chu is a graduate student at UCLA in Aerospace Engineering and currently supported by a National Science Foundation Fellowship. Her research is performed at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the Electric Propulsion Group, where she studies hollow cathode current sharing in parallel configurations for Direct Drive applications. Previously, Lauren received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech in 2009 and her M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA in 2011. In 2011, Lauren received a Amelia Earhart Fellowship from Zonta International and a three-year Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation.
